Loamy Prairie Range Site

Photograph of a loamy prairie range site and a stock pond on the windmill pasture of the Dolo Stanford Ranch. A windmill and some cattle are in the background. The back of the photograph proclaims, "The loamy Prairie range site in the foreground occurs on Lula Loam, I to 3 percent slopes. The water facility was developed in a lightly grazed area to encourage the proper distribution of grazing. The light spots in the background are sideoats grama, blue grama, and silver bluestem on the Talpa part of the Scullen-Talupa complex. 2 to 6 percent slopes, the very shallow site part of the mapping unit."
