A paper clipping of a boxer is pasted on the back of the postcard with the message written as follows, "This fellow's first name is Jack, would "Johnson" fit for your "Jack's" last name? H. Postcard to Mrs. F. Adler. The front of the postcard features a photograph of a man-made dam on a small lake, taken from down-stream. Trees surround the lake and dam on all sides, and there are large, rectangular stones piled up on the right side. A man in a light shirt and dark pants walks along the edge of the dam (where the water pours over the edge), going left.
