Roots were planed on a well prepared seed bed and fertilized with 150 pounds of 10-20-10 per acre applied in rows at sprigging time, limed according to need. Grass was planted in June of 1955.

Bermuda grass was over seeded with big hop and White Dutch clover in the fall of 1952. Pasture has been fertilized with 100 pounds of 0-2-0 each fall since it was established. Class V land. Permanent pasture was established on this land as a correct land use practice.

Heavy trees and brush were cleared with a bulldozer as recommended by the SCS as a proper land use practice.

It was constructed to drain a 80 acre field to make it useful for cropland. Ditch was designed, laid out, and staked by SCS Technicians. It was constructed to planned specifications.
