Hammeken, in which the sender describes the provenance of the seven-hundred dollars that were originally enclosed in the letter, and provides a list of items that Mrs. Perry wants Hammeken to purchase and/or have made, including a wax impression of Gen. Austin's seal which Mrs. Perry wants to have engraved on the items she has requested. Lastly, there are further directions for any remaining sum.
