Theranostic Small-Molecule Prodrug Conjugates for Targeted Delivery and Controlled Release of Toll-like Receptor 7 Agonists
This article presents a novel class of chemically identical theranostic small-molecule prodrug conjugates (T-SMPDCs), [¹⁸/¹⁹F]F-TZ(PSMA)-LEGU-TLR7, for PSMA-targeted delivery and controlled release of toll-like receptor 7 (TLR7) agonists to elicit de novo immune response for cancer immunotherapy. The proof-of-concept biological evaluation presented demonstrates the potential of T-SMPDCs for cancer immunomodulatory therapies.

Wearable airbag technology and machine learned models to mitigate falls after stroke
Article discusses wearable airbag technology that has been designed to detect and mitigate fall impact. However, this technology has not been validated for the stroke population, so authors investigated whether population-specific training data and modeling parameters are required to pre-detect falls in a chronic stroke population.

Using existing metadata standards and tools for a digital language archive: a balancing act
Article discusses how building a digital language archive requires a number of steps to ensure collecting, describing, preserving and providing access to language data in effective and efficient ways. This paper introduces the reader to the background of this project and discusses some of the areas important for representing language materials where both University of North Texas Libraries (UNTL) metadata and CoRSAL metadata practices were adapted to better fit the needs of intended audiences.

Biomimics of [FeFe]-hydrogenases incorporating redox-active ligands: synthesis, redox properties and spectroelectrochemistry of diiron-dithiolate complexes with ferrocenyl-diphosphines as Fe4S4 surrogates
Article prepares and characterizes a small series of new [FeFe]-ase biomimics which contain a ferrocenyl diphosphine as a surrogate for the Fe₄S₄ moiety in the H-cluster of the enzyme. Mechanistic details of both proton reduction and H₂ oxidation have been studied by DFT allowing speculative reaction schemes to be developed.

[TBAAL - Dallas City Council Meeting: large debate over ]
Audio from The Black Academy of Arts and Letters of a city council meeting held on September 13. The audio begins with a prayer for patience. After, the Dallas mayor suggests moving to a different chamber to accommodate for the large number of citizen speakers in the audience and waiting outside to be seated. The discussion devolves into an argument due to a large majority of council members and audience members wanting to remain seated. Once moved, guest speakers walk up one by one to give their opinions over a tax increase on the Dallas citizens for renovations to cultural institutions such as the Dallas Convention Center and stadiums.

Quantum algorithm for electronic band structures with local tight-binding orbitals
Article says that while the main thrust of quantum computing research in materials science is to accurately measure the classically intractable electron correlation effects due to Coulomb repulsion, designing optimal quantum algorithms for simpler problems with well-understood solutions is a useful tactic to advance our quantum “toolbox”. In this paper, the authors adopt a direct space approach, using a novel hybrid first/second-quantized qubit mapping which allows us to construct a single Hamiltonian, and a single cost-function, suitable for solving the entire electronic band structure.
