The water fall cascades down a short distance, and then over a rock and into a pool of water. There are more rocks and greenery on either side of the waterfall.

Postcard from Julia B. Guerra to Mary Hall, writing to say she's enjoying her vacation and to wish Mary well. The front of the postcard features a photograph of a small stone building with an American flag on a pole directly to the left of it, and a large sign on the roof that reads, "Cascade Caverns." The building has another section on the back left side, with a door and a window. The building is surrounded on the backside by trees.

The front of the postcard also features a photograph of a grassy field bordering a shaded, wooded area. In the background to the left, beyond a fence, light- and dark-colored cows lay in a field next to a barn. Along the border between the two fields, a person sits on top of a horse, facing towards the woodland area on the right.

There is a stretch of open, grassy land in front of a fence that runs through the middle-ground.
