The front of the postcard features a photograph (colored in with ink) of Fern Bank waterfall in Boerne Texas. The waterfall is a small stream of water spilling over a rocky ledge covered in greenery. The water fall cascades down a short distance, and then over a rock and into a pool of water. There are more rocks and greenery on either side of the waterfall.

Postcard from Julia B. Guerra to Mary Hall, writing to say she's enjoying her vacation and to wish Mary well. The front of the postcard features a photograph of a small stone building with an American flag on a pole directly to the left of it, and a large sign on the roof that reads, "Cascade Caverns." The building has another section on the back left side, with a door and a window. The building is surrounded on the backside by trees.

The article includes three photos of him, one in which he is sitting with his wife, and another in which he is holding the reins of a dappled-coat horse. Postcard from Marie M. L. to Eva Sumner, thanking her for sending a photograph at Easter time and informing her that their family is all well. The front of the postcard also features a photograph of a grassy field bordering a shaded, wooded area. In the background to the left, beyond a fence, light- and dark-colored cows lay in a field next to a barn. Along the border between the two fields, a person sits on top of a horse, facing towards the woodland area on the right.
