Photograph of a bridge, over the Canadian River, is now 18 inches from the water, which is only about a foot deep but formerly 16 feet above the water level. Acc. To William Dolezal, supervisor of the eat Canadian Soil Conservation District, the water deep enough to dive into from the bridge 25 years earlier. Silt from upstream farms has clogged the channel.
