Edwards writes that their program looks beneficial in expanding the teachers art strategies, however, due to budgeting concerns they are unable to participate this year but hope they will be reached out in the future.

Photocopy of a memorandum from Pat Warde, Center for Continuing Education and Conference Management, to Ruby Raines, saying that Cathy Mages just called from the Sheraton hotel concerning the special weekend pages that the hotel had put together for the people attending the program of June 1. In the memorandum, standard packages of the hotels services are described for anyone who is interested in staying with the Sheraton that evening, and to make reservations in advanced. Copied on the letter is Bill McCarter.

In regards of Dallas participation in the North Texas Institute for Educators on the Visual Arts. McCarter writes that after reviewing their budget they have found that they will be able to fund one team from DISD for the first year at the Institute. After that one year they are going to discuss the re-entry of Dallas into the five year plan after discussing with the Getty Center about more funding. McCarter hopes to meet up with Dunn to discuss finer details in an upcoming meeting.

The letter states that Davis will have to abide by the criteria and procedures set for art education consultants and be available for consulting.
