Photograph used for a story in the Oklahoma City Times newspaper. Caption: "Here's what California avenue looks like in the eye of a camera. It looked exactly the same to the driver of a fire truck who wandered how he'd manage to weave through if he were answering an alarm in the downtown loop. The photographer was perched on top of the aerial ladder truck for this picture, looking west in the 200 block W California. Cars that are parked, double-parked and some even triple-parked, are shown between the curbing and the white lines. Parking meters have been proposed on the street to eliminate the double-parking jam. They are opposed by businessmen along the street. George Barton, traffic consultant from Evanston, Ill., is studying the problem and is due to file his solution with the city council at Tuesday's council meeting."
