Message from Santiago de Jesús Sánchez to José Jesús de la Garza, captain of the militia, informing him of an individual breaking the law. According to the message the man, from Lampasos, is selling liquor and setting up games; de Jesús Sánchez asks whether the law should be enforced. de la Garza responds by saying the liquor should be destroyed and the man, Alexandro Escalera, be thrown in jail.

Correspondence from Spanish officials to Governor Antonio Cordero regarding an unpaid loan due to Jose Menchaca not paid by Cayetano de la Garza who died in 1795. According to the communications, his son José Jesús de la Garza is made responsible for the debt and promises to pay.

Printed decree from Viceroy Güemez referencing a decree from November 14, 1791 permitting Juan de Aguilar, an Indian from Pueblo de Mitla to go to Spain for commercial reasons. According to the decree the Viceroy may give permissions like this, for a limited time, in the future.

Message from Manuel de Flor describing the José Prat, who is wanted on criminal charges. The signatures on the document represent the various Spanish authorities acknowledging their having received the announcement. The document itself is stained in multiple locations and has slight tears on the edges of the paper.

Copy of transcript for an accounting record for balance owed by Moses Austin and payable Stephen Austin. This record looks to have been created retroactively, based on the addendum stating that the balance was settled between Stephen Austin and Moses Austin in 1797.
