The front of the postcard depicts a Fourth of July parade in downtown Midland, going down Main Street with the Llano Hotel at left and several pedestrians and parked carriages watching horse-drawn parade floats and decorated cars.

Postcard of the Baldwin Sanatorium in El Paso, Texas. The image is an illustration depicting a stone building on a hill surrounded by desert plants. The correspondence on the back is addressed to "Miss Ruth Curtin" and the author mentions acknowledging that they received photos from Miss Curtin.

Postcard of King's Daughters Hospital in Temple, Texas. The image is a black and white photo taken from the street next to the building, including the entire structure in the photo. "King's Daughters Hospital, Temple, Texas" is printed across the bottom of the postcard. There is correspondence on the postcard but the addressee and signature are blocked out.

Postcard of a colorized photograph of the Temple Cotton Compress, a wooden structure with a tower and smoke stack, with rows of bales of cotton and several men moving individual bales in the foreground. Printed on the front of the postcard: "Compress, Temple, Texas." There is handwritten correspondence on the back of the postcard.

Postcard of the First Presbyterian Church at 812 Austin Avenue in Waco, Texas, sent by Minnie Sleeper to Mr. E. G. Oates updating him on her plants.

Postcard from E. H. to Miss Annie Hein. The writer of the postcard mentions something about a picnic. The front of the postcard features a photograph of the town, and some of the small farms surrounding the town, taken from a great distance. There are large trees on the right front side of the town, and in the background, small bluffs are visible on the horizon. There is a stretch of open, grassy land in front of a fence that runs through the middle-ground.

Postcard addressed to George Pendexter with a note on the back that reads: "If you know Ft. Worth, you can recognize this spot." The photograph on the reverse side shows a view down Broadway St. looking at badly damaged buildings and trees caused by a recent fire. The building on the far right has large portions of its walls damaged and those in the background have their roofs destroyed.

Postcard addressed to C. L. Woodward "Chief Fire Dept., Austin [sic], Texas" with a photograph of the motor vehicles used by the Akron Fire Department in Akron, Ohio. The caption on the photo reads: "The Webb Motor Fire Apparatus used in the Akron Fire Department." All of the vehicles have ladders loaded in the back, along with alarm bells mounted on the front part of the cars; these are parked outside of the fire station in the city with the firemen of the department posing around the vehicles.

Postcard of three fire fighters manning an auto fire engine. Two citizens are seen spectating in the background on the right. On the back of the postcard, the sender has left a handwritten message that says, "Ms. G. E. Dayton of New Haven informed me you were collecting fire Dept. So here is one. Hope you have not got one like it; she is collect jumbo. She is a powerful [...], as well as a thing of beauty.

Postcard of a photograph of three-story, light colored building with a large group of children crowded onto the front steps, under the balcony on the third floor. Text at the bottom of the postcard identifies the building as a public school in Magnolia, Mississippi. There is handwritten text on the other side of the postcard to Mr. Leslie Boone in San Marcos, Texas.

Postcard of a brick building with two stories, described as "Gymnasium Building, Mich., State Normal College, Ypsilanti, Mich." The letter is illegible. The postcard is addressed to "Miss Mamie McFaddin Beaumont, Texas McFaddin Ave."

Postcard of the Jefferson Hotel in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Handwritten message on the back of the postcard is from Tom Rayburn to Lou Rayburn.

Postcard from Rose Chamberlin to Junia Roberts Osterhout. The front has three photos stacked vertically. The one on top has buildings in the plains and is a general view of Fort Concho. The second one is the officers' quarters and has a row of stone houses with a road out in front. All the houses have slanted roofs and chimneys. At the start of the road is a fence with an open gate. The bottom one is the soldiers' quarters and has a row of roofs held up by wooden columns, attached to a stone building. On the bottom of the front and the back, Rose wrote about a storm that had passed through her area.
