Also included is a signed certificate indicating Simpson's acceptance of his appointment. There is a small piece of paper attached to the front of the letter with a note from Thelma Andrews, a member of the San Antonio chapter of The Links, Inc. addressed to chapter president Margaret Winn. Both the letter and certificate of acceptance are photocopies.
