She was taken to Mercy hospital suffering a head injury. Driver of the car in which she was riding, Kenneth Arthur Sandall, 18, of 1001 SW 51, suffered facial cuts. Another passenger, Shirley Hodges, 16, of 2244 SW 23, suffered bruises. Troopers Leroy Harris and Arch Hamilton were unable to locate the driver of the second car, but arrested Roy L. Darnall, 26, of 2715 N Military, identified as owner of the second car, for investigation."
