Connally acknowledges the letter from Carswell and notes Carswell's approval of the President's program for aiding Greece and Turkey. He advises that he supports the matter and has enclosed a copy of a speech which he made in the Senate on this subject. Typewritten on U.S. Senate letterhead bearing U S Eagle watermark. The first letter discusses building projects, Moten's tenant in Texas, and medicine sent to Ike Moten. The second letter tells Ike Moten how to take the medicine Dr. Moten sent him.

Two letters from Dr. Edwin D. Moten to Josephine Bramlette Moten and his sister-in-law, on April 29, 1947. In the first letter, he discusses the recovery of Josephine's sister from an accident, and hopes that she will get better. He mentions vacation plans for Hot Springs or the Mayo Clinic, as well as a trip to California. In the second letter, he sends his sympathies to his sister-in-law following her accident.

Prince provided Morales with pages 41-43 of FCC Form 301 and requested that they be completed and returned in triplicate. The amended Form 301 was needed for support of the Petition to Amend and Remove from Hearing Docket.

Prince is responding to Herrera's telegram from March 31st and explains the process for amending the application for Mr. Morales' application. Prince advises that there is a possibility of a hearing for the new proposed radio frequency.

Prince advises Herrera to make a thorough investigation of Charles L. Belfi to determine whether or not he was qualified to serve as General Manager of a radio station. Prince thinks Herrera should also authorize John H. Barron to proceed on the new frequency because of the conflict with Mexia.
