In the first letter, he discusses the recovery of Josephine's sister from an accident, and hopes that she will get better. He mentions vacation plans for Hot Springs or the Mayo Clinic, as well as a trip to California. In the second letter, he sends his sympathies to his sister-in-law following her accident.

Letter from E. P. Hamilton to Mrs. Eleanor Bodansky, informing her that the company has just finished a contract to complete a new edition of her late husband's textbook. The letter also asks Mrs. Bodansky to sign the new agreement and cancel the previous version.

Letter from Arnulfo Zamora in Laredo, Texas, to John J. Herrera in Houston, Texas. Zamora acknowledged receipt of Herrera's letter from March 13, 1947 regarding the application of Felix H. Morales for a radio station permit.

Herrera requests Dr. Castañeda to write a letter of support for a Spanish speaking radio station in Houston. Herrera also inquires if Dr. Castañeda could make himself available to testify as a witness in an upcoming hearing with the FCC.

Prince is responding to Herrera's telegram from March 31st and explains the process for amending the application for Mr. Morales' application. Prince advises that there is a possibility of a hearing for the new proposed radio frequency.
