Interview with Cece Cox, Executive Director of Resource Center of Dallas and longtime activist in the LGBT community. The interview includes Cox's personal experiences of childhood in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, her college years at Northwestern University, and coming out the family, friends, and co-workers. Cox talks about the awareness of her sexual orientation, the supportive reactions of family, her decision to move to Dallas, Texas for a job, her involvement in the Dallas LGBT community, thoughts on Texas Penal Code 21.06-the Sodomy Law, the struggle for gay men to receive AIDS treatment at Parkland Memorial Hospital, Dallas Gay Alliance's activism in AIDS treatment and care as well as in the struggle for equal treatment and human rights. Additionally, Cox talks about her impressions of Don Baker, Judge Jerry Buchmeyer and his decision to overturn penal code 21.06, changes in Dallas's LGBT community, family life, and Resource Center Dallas's history and services. Interview with Ada Reed and Bob Brewer, owners and operators of A. B. McGill and Company General Merchants. In the interview, the Brewers discuss their family backgrounds, marriage, losses on charge accounts during the Great Depression, the change from clerk-service to self-service operation of the store, the credit business, purchasing clothes at the Dallas fashion market, customer interests, changes in product lines, commercial and residential growth in the Bertram area, using direct mail and radio advertising, their involvement with the Texas Retail Association, factors in developing a successful business, and civic activities. The interview includes an appendix with a flyer, photographs, articles, and letters.

Interview with Lisa Jane Lachance-Skier, a Air Force veteran from Phoenix, Arizona. Lachance-Skier discusses growing up, participating in Junior ROTC, enlisting in the Air Force in 1976, experiences as a woman in a newly integrated Air Force, sexual harassment and assault in the military, service in England, attending ROTC and becoming an officer, her marriage, service in Germany, her work during the Gulf War, being forced out as part of a personnel drawdown, transitioning to the civilian world and her post-Air Force career, her involvement in the Grace After Fire program for assisting female veterans, problems facing female veterans and lack of support, the 2014 lifting of the combat ban on women in the US armed forces, the WASPs, and advice for servicewomen. In appendix is a summary of Lachance-Skier's USAF career, three photos of her Meritorious Service Medal certificates, and a Grace After Fire booklet.

Interview with Richard Vincent, a member and former pastor of the Metropolitan Community Church from Kirksville, Missouri. Vincent discusses his education and religious background, the Circle of Friends in Dallas and discovering the Metropolitan Community Church, establishing MCC Dallas, ministering to prisoners, becoming the first pastor of MCC Dallas, cooperation with bars and other LGBT community establishments, the congregation, moving the church, his theology, succeeding pastors, and reflections on his ministry.

Interview with James Vohs, former CEO and president of Kaiser Permanente from Berkeley, California. Vohs discusses his background, his career at Kaiser, the inception of the Kai-Pru venture, Kaiser-Prudential Advisory Services, financial and managerial arrangements, reception and resistance by the medical community, the Dallas healthcare market, and the impact of Kai-Pru.

Interview with Jefferson D. Roberts, a businessman and an Army Air Corps veteran (339th Bomb Squadron, 96th Bombardment Group, 8th Air Force), concerning his experiences as a prisoner-of-war of the Germans after being shot down over Nazi Germany during World War II. Roberts discusses the shooting down of his bomber (1944), his capture and interogation near Frankfurt, Heidekruge, East Prussia (1944), a prison camp near Berlin (1944), the forced march from Nürnberg to Moosberg (1945), prison camps at Nürnberg and Barth, and his liberation.

Interview with Burlyce Logan, one of the first African American students at North Texas, and UNT alumna whose college education began in 1956 and concluded in 2011. She recalls her childhood and education in Dallas and New York City; love of piano and musical education; decision to become one of the first African American students at North Texas; experiences as a college student, including racist incidents on campus, and as a boarder in Southeast Denton; decision to drop out in 1958; marriage to Raymond Logan, move to California, and return to Denton; decision to return to UNT as a student in 2005 and experiences on campus in the 21st century; 2011 graduation.
