Fenion, President-Elect of the California Medical Association, was the first woman physician picked to lead a state medical society. Mr. Williston assures Dr. Scofield he will bring the report to the attention of Robert L. Thomas, Executive Director of the California Medical Association. He also expresses appreciation that Dr. Scofield informed the newspaper that Dr. May Owen served as President of the Texas Medical Association from 1960-1961.
