It reads: "To all Freemasons dispersed on the face of the Globe: This is to certify that our well-beloved Brother John Todd Willis has been a Master Mason for more than Fifty Years. As a visible token of their fraternal love and grateful appreciation, this certificate is presented to him by his brethren, the Masons of Texas, with the fervent hope that his years of service to the Craft will continue to increase. In testimony whereof, we have hereunto subscribed our names and affixed our seals in the City of Waco, this 4th day of March, A. D. 1968, A. L. 5968." It has been signed by Grand Master J. W. Chandler and Grand Secretary Harvey C. Byrd.

He wants to know if the Crawfords found a house in Waco, and asks his parents to send him the clippings of Crawford in the paper.

Letter from John Todd Willis, Jr. to his parents Clara and John T. Willis, Sr. on March 9, 1944. On his day off, Willis brought Wilbur Crawford to his camp, and they went to a U. S. O. show in the evening. Willis heard that his cousin Jimmie Kendrick landed in New Guinea.

The shops are required to lower their prices or the US army will make them off limits to their soldiers. Included in the envelope is a pass that gives permission for Todd Willis to be absent from his post from 1:00 to 4:30 to visit Casablanca.
