A handwritten note on the back of the postcard is addressed to Mr. William Jennings in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and says, "Dear friend, This is [?] life down here and I like it better every day. Am at present (acting) corporal while in the detention camp. Will be assigned to my squad or company when I get out of quarantine. Roland A Bosler. Aviation Camp, Waco, Texas."
