The funeral was held March 21, 2009 at Mont Zion First Baptist Church, officiated by Reverend Otis I. Mitchell. Funeral arrangements were made through Sutton and Sutton Mortuary, Inc. and he was buried in Meadowlawn Memorial Park in San Antonio, Texas.
