Carley, proprietor of the Noble Weekly Journal, started The Noble News in March, 1906 as a continuation of her earlier paper. The newspaper may have ceased or suspended publication until 1911 at which time M. Lane King restarted the paper. The News, unlike its predecessor, claimed political affiliations with the Democratic Party. Towards the end of its existence, the paper was absorbed by the Norman Democrat-Topic. The Noble News was one of the only surviving early newspapers in Noble.

The paper published religious material and had an anti-Mormon message. The Star of Hope was comprised of eight pages with four columns and cost fifty cents per year. Parker and Carley aimed to make the newspaper “the best religious journal.”
