The presenters discuss how required and preferred qualifications have evolved over time. Recommendations for writing job advertisements to promote equity, diversity, and inclusion are provided. It was presented virtually for the ALA Core Role of the Professional Librarian in Technical Services Interest Group (RPLTS) Core IG Week program, on March 9, 2022.
