Davis acknowledges his receipt of the letter from Carswell and confirms the plan to be at their regular meeting. He advises of more than 50 churches having committed to field days estimating they will get one hundred.

At the bottom is a handwritten reply to Dean Mangun from Annie Mae Melton confirms assignments on the effects of alcohol within courses.

Carswell advises the Commanding General 45th Division of the plan to observe "Army Day" in Abilene on April 7, 1941 and requests the participation of the forces under his command. Notes including the names of Gen. Brees, Gen. Krueger, Gov. O'Daniel are handwritten at top of page.

A letter written to Mrs. T. N. Carswell, Abilene, Texas from Mrs. Wilson, The Abilene Woman's Club, Abilene, Texas, dated March 26, 1962. Advisement regarding delinquent dues. A handwritten note by Carswell advises that he mailed Byrdie Carswell's resignation at Mrs. Wilson's suggestion.
