Byrnes refers to Kirk's letter of March 23, 1951 and advises of an enclosed Postal Savings Bond belonging to Subject A-9808-A, as requested.

A letter addressed to Mr. E. A. Burkhart, Adult Authority, Sacramento, California, from T. N. Carswell, Chairman, Taylor County (Texas) Parole Board, dated March 6, 1954. Carswell makes a request that the application for pardon for Subject A-9803 be postponed for the present.
