Flowers 'Bloom' Garlands, growing plants and trees were being installed to carry out the "Swing to Spring" motive. Rigging for "the Huestri's" was being erected on the roof of the new Stevens store building, W Main and Harvey, were trapeze performances will be given three times a day - at 10:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 4 p.m. - until April 1. But the event, Meyerson believes, is parking experiment where merchants will give two hours of free parking with any $3 purchase. the lots and the stores are close together, with 42 stores having acess to 40 co-operating lots............During the two weeks, all stores are co-operating with special sales, too, along with the spring decorations and swinging poles to demonstrate the "swing to spring." Photograph used for a story in the Daily Oklahoman newspaper. Caption: "Pro-integration demontrators marched, motorcaded, hummed, prayed and sang peacefully Saturday in Oklahoma City, in contrast to a week ago when 13 persons were arrested during a sit-in demonstration. No attempt was made to violate District Judge Glen O. Morris's order restraining them from congregating in the Cravens Building in an attempt to gain service in the Anna Maude Cafeteria. Students and teachers from Oklahoma City University and the University of Oklahoma added their support to the integration movement with a "funeral procession" motorcade from the Southeast High School, through the downtown area and finally to Penn Sqaure, where they disbanded. Following their standard Saturday morning procedure the bulk of the demonstrators, about 55 persons, met first at the Calvary Baptist Church, NE 2 and Walnut, and then marched to John A. Brown's downtown store. They were first warned by E. Melvin Porter, president of the local National Association of Colored People chapter, not to block entrances or aisles at Brown's luncheonette.........At one time during the marching, Mrs. Clara Luper, NAACP youth advisor, reached out to open the door to the Forum Cafeteria, next door to Brown's, but the door …
