Photograph used for a story in the Oklahoma City Times newspaper. Caption: "A 2-alarm fire in Hunter Funeral Home, in the 2400 block S Harvey, quickley was brought under control Thursday morning. The blaze damaged four 7-passenger cars and a 1961 funeral coach. Fire Chief Haskell Graves said the blaze apparently started in a heating unit in the garage behind the main building, and spread through the garage. George Merritt, and empbalmer for the firm, said he and several other employees were playing cards whe the fire started. They ran down a fire escape into the drive. They drove four vehicles into the street. Merritt said the blaze spread rapidly they were unable to save the other cars. Smoke blackens walls of the Hunter Funeral Home garage."
