A 5 x 7 photograph negative showing Santa Fe Motor Car M-162 gas-electric "doodlebug", on passenger train No. 46, running through the Wichita Mountains near Lugert, OK, King Mountain in the background. The daily run was 519 miles between Wichita, KS, and San Angelo, TX: two sets of equipment were required, Motors M-160, M-161 and M-162 were assigned so that one at a time could be overhauled or be available for emergencies.
