Caption: "Thirteen racial demonstrators - including a Catholic priest - were arrested on disorderly conduct compliants Saturday after the most determined attempt to gain service at the Anna Maude's Cafeteria. The demonstrators, who sat in the lobby of the Cravens Building when they refused admittance to the cafeteria, were carried to the police patrol wagon when they refused to leave. Police had arrieved with the crowd of 75 demonstrators to maintian order. When the customers complianed that the entrance to the cafeteria was blocked, J. W. Quillian jr., building manager, agreed to sign compliants. All Go To Jail Eight white persons were taken to jail. They were Rev. Robert G. McDole, 1005 NE 15, assistant pastor of Corpus Chrisiti Roman Catholic Church; William Roy Kirkwood, 20, a student at the University of Oklahoma; Benny Paul VanMeter, 20, of 2537 NW 21; and Bill James Clifford, 24, of 901 NW 21. The other white persons were Ross Joseph Williams, 28, of 515 SW 27; Thomas William Braden, 19, od 515 SW 27; Nellie Ruth Zoeller, 20, of 928 SW 26; Doris Marie Manning, 18, of 1016 SW 28.
