Patent for improvement in small firearms. The gun combines a cylindrical breech and with an elliptical bore in order to increase the projectile’s impact and stabilize its trajectory. Patent for a hinge-gainer related to "certain improvements in devices of that class employed for cutting a gain or mortise in a door-jam or door for the reception of a hinge. The object of the invention is to provide an improved machine or tool in which all the parts may be readily and accurately adjusted to cut recesses of different width, height, and depth" (Lines 8-16).

Patent for improvement in riding-spurs for horsemen by “using an open-ended socket, a shank having limited sliding movement in the socket, a rowel freely journaled at the outer end of the shank, and a spring inclosed within the socket and serving to hold the shank normally outward, the tines or points of the rowel being adapted to engage the socket and secure the rowel against rotation when the shank is pressed inward.” (P. 2, lines 6-14.) Patent for a mat for presses which is to be used to express oils from vegetables.

Patent for improved horseshoeing rasp, both portable and mechanical, which removes extra hoof after shoe is applied to foot. Invention also provides smoother and trimmer hoof with shoe.

Patent for plow by using “a block located between the spaced beam-bars and serving not only as a spreader for holding the bars apart, but also constituting means whereby the standard or stock may be adjusted to different inclinations with relation to the beam. Another feature is a brace that rigidly holds the standard or stock in place and also forms strengthening means at the point of attachment of the handles to the beam to prevent vibration of the former, thus insuring a rigid and stable structure.” (Lines 25-36) Illustration is included.
