He also states that he is aware of the State Board of Hospitals and Special Schools' financial need and he will help increase the board's appropriation, and that he will support extending the State Cigarette Tax to cover construction of State Hospitals. He explains that because requests for additional appropriations exceed $100,000,000 the State Board of Vocational Education will likely not receive the full $50,000 they requested.
