Latimer writes that he is a member of the Appropriations Committee and hopes to increase appropriations for the hospital but they will likely not get everything they are asking for since requests from state agencies exceed expected revenue. He also mentions that the legislature has voted to increase state employee salaries in the past and will likely continue to do so.
