Notes accompanying a presentation for the Jazz Education Network Fifth Annual Conference. These notes and the presentation discuss how Gene Hall and Leon Breeden advanced the legitimacy of jazz in music education.

Survey Instrument used for study, "Succession Planning Through Mentoring in the Library." The purpose of this study is to determine if libraries are incorporating succession planning in their hiring, recruitment and retention plans and if there is perceived value among librarians in incorporating mentoring in their succession plans.

These grant materials were prepared for the National Digital Newspaper Program, a project funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) to provide access to historic American Newspapers. The Library of Congress serves as the technical adviser for the NDNP. The Award funded digitization of Texas historical newspapers. For the grant, UNT served as the lead institution and partnered with the Dolph Briscoe Center for American History at the University of Texas. This proposal was funded for $324,980.

This document provides the preliminary specifications for the different RadMARC records to be created for use in the Z-Interop2 interoperability testbed. Experience with these records may result in revisions to the specifications.
