Kelly of 100 N Kimble, Yukon, died of massive head injuries suffered when his late model sedan plowed through a guard rail near NW 23 and Overholser Drive and landed upside down in the lake. Kelly was the only passenger, police said. Exact time and cause of the crash remained a mystery at mid-day...Police said G.O. A mile section of track, destroyed when 28 Frisco frieght cars derailed Tuesday night, scheduled to be reopened early Thursday morning, railroad officials said Wednesday night. Workment were repairing the track, which is one of Frisco's major lines through south-central Oklahoma, and planned to have it "complete enough for trains to pass through by sometine early Thursday morning" the spokesman said. Estimates on damage in the derailment were not immediately available but sources at the scene said it could run from $1-to $1.5-million. Sheriff's officers said it would be 7 to 8 days before the area could be cleaned up enough for estimators to get a clear picture.........Sgt. Ed Edwards of the Holdenville police department said..."Wheat was scattered on the icy and snowy ground all along the trackand none could be scooped up," a deputy said."
