The back of the postcard adds, "Rock Springs, on the main line of the Union Pacific, about midway between Denver and Salt Lake City, center of the largest coal mining sections in the West. Mine payrolls average $400,000 per month. Rock Springs is also the center of a large sheep raising area." The message on the back is illegible. The postcard is addressed to "Mrs. Carroll E.
