From abstract: From September 15 to September 28, 1978, geoMetrics, Inc., collected 4320 line miles of high sensitivity airborne radiometric and magnetic data in Wyoming and Nebraska within two 1° x 2° NTMS quadrangles (Torrington and Casper).

Data collected as part of a report on the Sheridan Wyoming Quadrangle including laboratory data on waters (pp. 1-22) and sediments (pp. 23-52) as well as field data (pp. 53-115).

From introduction: This is one of a series of three reports on airborne radioactivity surveys in the United States. The reports contain the 185 airborne anomaly maps issued by the U. S. Atomic Energy Commission as a result of the AEC's aerial surveying program conducted from March 1952 to June 1956; two ground reconnaissance maps of Utah also are included. Most of the reconnaissance was done in the western United States.

Abstract: Field and laboratory data are presented for 582 water samples and 526 sediment from the Sheridan Quadrangle, Wyoming. The samples were collected and uranium analysis performed by Los Alamos National Laboratory; multielement analysis and data reporting were performed by the Uranium Resource Evaluation Project at Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
