Blomberg discusses his assignment to the 3rd Field Hospital in Saigon, Vietnam, and includes details concerning the provision of immunization shots to Vietnamese orphans, general living conditions, his social life, and the "Vietnamization" of the war. Blomberg recalls the post-war adjustments that many veterans dealt with, and the effect that the war had on his later life.

Casterline discusses his origins in the seafood business, the evolution of large fishing boats and how his company uses them, shrimping practice, differences between towns in the Aransas area, the seafood market, the Parks and Wildlife Department marine lab in Rockport, moving his business, and controversy around mud dredging among clam beds.

Interview with Campbell Read, a professor at Southern Methodist University and Dallas-area LGBT activist from Edinburgh, Scotland. Read discusses fighting police harassment, organizing a televised rebuttal to televangelist James Robison's condemnation of the gay community, important members of the community in Dallas and Denton, attending college in Lebanon and the United States, becoming involved with gay rights' activities at SMU, his family, and bird-watching. In appendix are pictures of demonstration signs Read carried and relevant newspaper clippings.
