Evening dress of maroon silk crepe and hand beading. Bateau neckline; long set-in sleeves. Front is unadorned and seamless; back of bodice is heavily beaded in diamond pattern on V-shaped insert. Back vent is decorated with beaded floral motif on all sides. Beading goes from waist to bottom hem on each side, widening as it descends. Beading is done in red, maroon, red-iridescent, and clear sequins, bugle, and round beads. Zipper closure under left sleeve. Lined in red silk satin.
