Cocktail/dinner dress of silk satin. Bodice of gray silk satin with surplice neckline and cap sleeves. Overskirt of pink satin is draped and pleated in front and opens to left of center. Underskirt of peach satin is A-lined with 6" crenelated hem. Center back closure of self-covered buttons and snaps on bodice, hook & eyes on overskirt and zipper on underskirt. Skirt lined in salmon silk with petersham waistband; padded shoulders. Couture label notes style name as "Magnolia".

Skirt suit of black and white houndstooth wool with black leather accents. A) Single breasted fitted jacket has double revers neckline of herringbone and under collar of webbed black leather. Men’s vest of silk/acetate blend with eight-pointed star, round laurel leaf, and rope filigree motif. Five button closure with black cotton trim. Welt pockets with zipper closures. Back is black silk quilted with red/brown topstitching, vent at center back, bottom hem with two snap closures. Sleeveless with generous armscyes. Bottom hem ribbed cotton knit of varying patterns.
