Diploma from North Texas State Normal College certifying that Inez Evans has completed the necessary coursework to earn a degree of Bachelor of Arts. At the top of the document is an illustration of the Texas Coat of Arms; a star of five points, encircled by a wreath of olive and live oak branches The Certificate is signed by President William Herschel Bruce and President of the Board of Regents M. O. Flowers. At the bottom of the diploma it is embossed with the North Texas State Normal College seal.

[Booklet: Annie Webb Blanton of Denton for the thirteenth congressional district]

Annie Webb Blanton (1870-1945) was an American suffragist, educator, and author of a series of grammar textbooks. Blanton was elected Superintendent of Texas Public Instruction in 1918, making her the first woman in Texas elected to statewide office. She was born in Houston and at 18 moved to Austin to attend classes at the University of Texas where she graduated in 1899 with a Bachelors of Literature. In 1901, Dr. Blanton began teaching English at North Texas Normal School in Denton, Texas where she remained for 17 years. The school is part of the now University of North Texas.

Photograph of the Williams family sitting on the ground outside of their home in El Paso. Byrd III and John both have their hair buzzed and they are both wearing light colored button up shirts. The boys are both sitting with one of their knees pulled up to their chest and they both have toy cannons. Their baby brother Charles is sitting to the right of them, and he is wearing a light colored knit cap with a dark cardigan. Their mother Irene is sitting next to Charles and she is looking down at him and smiling. The ground they are sitting on has no grass and is made completely of sand.
