[The Magnolia Center building]

Photograph of the Magnolia Center building located at 1227 West Magnolia Avenue in Fort Worth, Texas. The brick building is three stories tall and has a different style of window for each one. The ground floor windows are square, three-paned windows that have shop awnings over them. The second-floor windows are nine-paned windows with broken pediments on top, and the top floor windows are six-paned with a separate four-paned half-circle window on top. Letters on the sign of the building say "Equitable Bank." A lamppost stands in the foreground, standing on a bricked section of sidewalk that is across the street from the Magnolia Center. There are young trees all along both sides of the street.

[Auto-Heinz at 4620 Camp Bowie Boulevard]

Photograph of an Auto-Heinz located at 4620 Camp Bowie Boulevard in Fort Worth, Texas. The building used to be a Sinclair gas station, and is now a Dominoes. It is a white building with a large, covered, drive-through area. The sign for the building hangs off of the side of this covering and reads "Auto-Heinz" "Mercedes/BMW Service." The roof has Spanish tile on it, and the windows of the building are barred. The sun is bright, creating a dramatic shadow underneath the covered area. Another building stands in the background of the photo, across the street from the Auto-Heinz.

[An Auto-Heinz in Fort Worth]

Photograph of an Auto-Heinz at 4620 Camp Bowie Boulevard in Fort Worth, Texas. The building was previously a Sinclair Gas station, and is now a Dominoes. The light-colored building has flat, stucco walls, and a large, covered, drive-through area. The roof of this covered portion is supported by two columns. A sign is mounted on it that reads "...o - Heinz" "...des / BMW Service." Spanish tile covers the roof of the entire building, and the edges of the roofline of the covered area. The right third of the photo shows the back of the building, which has two garage doors. Each window of the building has been barred. Concrete posts line the edges of the sidewalk and all of the ground seen in the photo is concrete.

[An entrance to Farrington Field]

Photograph of an entrance into Farrington Field at 1501 University Drive in Fort Worth, Texas. The Art Deco entrance has four decorative pillars holding up a section of wall that says "FARRINGTON FIELD" "FORT WORTH PUBLIC SCHOOL STADIUM." A star adorns the top of each of the striped pillars. On either side of the stadium name, another section of wall holds two carved pieces of art. On the left of the name, a football player is about to throw a ball to the right, and on the right side, a man with flowing hair also has a football in his hand, and appears to be running towards the left. The man in the left artwork has a full uniform on while the one on the right has only shorts and a t-shirt. Small windows in groups of three line the uppermost portion of the entrance. A sign just beyond the pillars advertises concessions. The bottom of the stairs of the stadium seats descends behind the entrance and the ground is concrete.

[A house on 2055 Ward Parkway in Fort Worth]

Photograph of a house on 2055 Ward Parkway in Fort Worth, Texas. It was built in 1938 and is the residence of Charles Moss Davis. The Art Deco house has clean lines, an almost flat front, a large number of differently shaped and sized windows. The house has a flat front until it reaches the doorway, where it curves in to create an inset for the door. This creates a new depth of the front of the house on the right side. This new depth has windows on the corners of the first and second floors. The windows have vertical blinds in them. The door is surrounded on the top and right sides by many small, rectangular windows. A three-paned circular window is set into the front high above the doorway. The rest of the windows are rectangular, but they are all different sizes, and some are partially covered by small shelves on the outside of the house. Landscaping with low bushes and short trees abuts the house, and grass takes up the rest of the yard, expect for the sidewalk that leads up to the house.

[The Allen Chapel]

Photograph of the Allen Chapel at 116 Elm Street in Fort Worth, Texas. The photo is taken from E 1st street. The chapel is two stories with a basement and a bell tower. The third-floor and the large, center windows are all cathedral shaped, with a pointed arch at the top. The rest of the windows are rectangular. A sign in the shape of a cross says the name of the chapel, and is mounted to the corner of the building. The chapel is made out of brick, and there are a set of stairs leading up to the building on the right side of the photo. The ground around the church is concrete until it gets closer to the camera, where it becomes grass instead. There is another building in the background, to the left, and to the right are empty fields. A telephone pole and lamppost stand in the right third of the photo, closer to the camera.

[The Pollock-Capps House, 2]

Photograph of the exterior of the Pollock-Capps House at 1320 Penn Street in Fort Worth, Texas. The Victorian Craftsman house has a multi-level roof with different gabled sections and a hexagonal turret, along with two visible chimneys. It has a wrap-around porch with columns adding support to the roofline. Two visible sets of stairs lead up to it, and landscaping with topiary abuts the house. A grass lawn ins interspersed with sections of concrete sidewalk. Leaf-less trees take up the rest of the space in the photo.

[A loading dock at a warehouse]

Photograph of the loading dock of a warehouse. The dock is elevated above street level, and is make of concrete that is broken in some areas. Cardboard boxes that are labeled "TORTILLA CHIPS" are stacked into three rows, one of them having fallen off of the dock and onto the street. Empty pallets are leaned up against the wall next to, and behind, these boxes. The wall is made of cinderblock and reads "...OD VEGETABLES SPECIALTIES, POUL... FR," etc... The roof of the dock has two rectangular windows, one with a circular fan built into it. The facade of roof reads "WHOL...ALE."

[Main Street in downtown Fort Worth]

Photograph of Main Street in downtown Fort Worth, Texas, at the intersection of E 3rd Street. A skyscraper that is almost entirely windows rises high above everything around it. The rest of the buildings are around the same height as each other, at roughly 4 or 5 stories. A few cars are parked along the side of the two roads that are in the photo. The actual intersection itself is located in the bottom middle of the photo. The sky is clear.

[Staircase inside the Knights of Pythias Building]

Photograph of a staircase in the Knights of Pythias Building at 315 Main Street in Fort Worth, Texas. The two-landing staircase has carpeted stairs and decorative bannisters. The turned-wood spindles are taller at each landing than they are on the actual stairs themselves. A potted tree sits by the base of the stairs, and two bowl lights shine on the ceiling.

[First Christian Church in Fort Worth]

Photograph of the First Christian Church at 612 Throckmorton Street in Fort Worth, Texas. The picture was taken from the corner of W 6th and Taylor Street. The church has three stories and a domed bell tower, with 6 columns adding drama to the front of the building. The Grecian-inspired architecture gives a unique roofline to the building with different gabled and raised portions, and some windows have pediments above them. The left side of the building is curved outwards. The church is surrounded by other, taller buildings, and an intersection separates the photographer from the subject.

[An entrance to the Will Rogers Memorial Auditorium]

Photograph of an entrance into the Will Rogers Memorial Auditorium in Fort Worth, Texas. Tow double door entryways are separated by a carved column. The doorframe on the left reads "WILL ROGERS MEMORIAL AUDITORIUM 1936," and the right doorframe just has an art deco design in the center. Both doorways have a tall column of glass blocks, each row 5 across, extending up to the top of the photo. [Interior of the YWCA building in Fort Worth]

Photograph of the interior of the YWCA building located at 512 W 4th Street in Fort Worth, Texas. The building is now known as the Center for Transforming Lives. Rows of white folding chairs are located near the camera, only three rows are visible, and they are split down the middle in an aisle. The floor is a small, square tile with darker grout. The walls dividing different areas are made up of multiple arches, giving the feeling of divided space without separating the rooms. Wooden beams on the ceiling surround a detailed square of it from which a pendant light hangs. An entry way is in the background, consisting of a bench, some potted trees, and a staircase.

[The Swift & Co. Office Building occupied by Spaghetti Warehouse]

Photograph of the Swift & Co. Office Building occupied by Spaghetti Warehouse at 600 E. Exchange Avenue in the Fort Worth Stockyards. The two-story building has a wrap-around porch on both stories. The bottom half of the photo consists of the brick road that the photographer is standing on. A concrete sidewalk leads up the stairs to the porch. A set of double doors is the entrance. The sign at the top of the building between two dormers reads "THE SPAGHETTI WAREHOUSE." Landscaping with a few young trees abuts the building, and a few cars are parked to the left.

[The façade of the North Side Coliseum in Fort Worth]

Photograph of the facade of the North Side Coliseum, now known as the Cowtown Coliseum, located at 121 E Exchange Avenue in Fort Worth, Texas. The photographer takes the photo from behind a fence, so a leafless tree takes up the majority of the photo. The Coliseum itself has an entryway that is separated from the outside by a wall of arches. It is a tall building; around 4 stories. The whole roof is pitched into one large triangle, and a large, curved section of windows takes up the inside of this triangle. Each different section of roof has Spanish tile on it, and there are six visible sections.

[The Livestock Exchange Building in the Fort Worth Stockyards]

Photograph of the Livestock Exchange Building in the Fort Worth Stockyards, located at 131 E. Exchange Avenue. The primary focus of the long-exposure photo is a large, concrete display that is filled with landscaping. The few people around this area are blurry because they moved during the long exposure photo. In the background is the Stock Exchange building with its arches as an entryway and Spanish tile roof. [The M. A. Benton House]

Photograph of the M. A. Benton house at 1730 6th Avenue in Fort Worth, Texas. The Victorian Craftsman house has two stories and a wrap-around porch. There are detailed corbels placed in every visible upper corner. A concrete sidewalk leads up to a set of stairs to the front door, which has a leaded glass panel. A bay window takes up the right third of the house, and its gabled roof adds depth to the gabled roof of the whole house. The majority of the lawn is grass, and a flowerbed with some small trees and bushes abuts the front of the house and the porch. There are trees in the background and a white picket fence right up next to the camera.

[The Schoolhouse on Lipscomb]

Austin Elementary School, and previously housed the Williamson-Dickie Manufacturing Company. The Romanesque Revival building is made of brick and light-colored stone. It is two stories tall, and has an arch as an entryway. The windows are 12-paned, rectangular windows that have been framed on the tops and bottoms by the light stone. Each visible corner of the building is made with the stone as well. There are small, eight-paned windows at the very bottom of the building, for the basement. A concrete sidewalk runs in front of the building, and its visible lawn is all grass, with a few mature trees growing. A concrete bench sits beside one of the trees, close to the camera. A concrete cylinder stands near the leftmost corner of the building, attached to the ground.

The entrance for the field also serves as a set of bleachers, so the ceiling of the entrance slopes down with the seats. The Art Deco façade has a carving on either side of the sign that reads "FARRINGTON FIELD." Three mature trees grow on the inside of the fence that separates the field from the street. Stadium lights rise high above the entrance, shining down to the field.
