[A house in Fort Worth]

Photograph of a house at 2300 Medford Ct E in Fort Worth. The large house has a stone exterior with a gabled roof and a double chimney. The roof also has two small dormers on the side. The multi-level house has many windows, some of which are leaded, cathedral-style windows. Three short trees join various low-growing plants to create a flowerbed near the side of the house. A set of concrete stairs with wrought iron handrails leads up to a concrete path that leads around the house to the front entrance. A concrete sidewalk runs in front of this set of stairs and across the whole photo. A flower bed is built into the grass past the sidewalk, nearest to the camera. The lawn of the house is well manicured and freshly mowed. Large bushes, trees, and another house create the background.

[Allen Chapel]

Photograph of Allen Chapel, located at 116 Elm Street in Fort Worth. The roof is gabled, and has another, smaller gabled section of roof attached to it, creating a pointed roofline in the middle of the side of the building. A tower rises from one corner of the chapel. It is a square tower with one visible, glass-paned window, and another window frame that has been boarded up. The whole building has cathedral windows that are leaded and have arched designs separating the individual panes. An awning stretches over an entrance, and there are two sets of stairs on either side of it, going up to other entrances. A road runs in front of the chapel, with three cars parked on it. [Saint Andrews United Methodist Church]

Photograph of Saint Andrews United Methodist Church located at 522 Missouri Avenue, in Fort Worth. The cathedral-style building has many architectural aspects to it. The most prominent section is the tower, which rises above the rest of the building and is topped with a spire in the shape of a cross. Another, shorter section of the building has the same pitched roof and spire as the tower. In between these two spire-topped sections, a section of the building curves outwards. A set of stairs with a handrail down the middle leads up to an entrance on the curved wall. Four columns, one on each side, help to support the curved ceiling of the porch. The columns are square and sturdy. There are many rectangular windows on the building, and a few cathedral-style, stained glass windows as well. Three trimmed box hedges flank one side of the staircase. A sign for the church sits in its yard with short grass. The trunk of a tree takes up the right third of the photo, as it is closer to the camera.

[Three arches at the Ashton Depot]

Photograph of three arches at Ashton Depot, formerly known as both Santa Fe and Fort Worth Union Depot, located at 1501 Jones Street, in Fort Worth. The arches are made out of brick and have strips of wood over top of the brick, creating a sunburst pattern at the curves of the arches, and horizontal stripes at the bottoms. Each arch has been framed out in wood. A small shelf of crown molding sits above each arch, and a corbel attaches the peak of each arch to its corresponding shelf. Above these shelves, two shades of brick have been stacked to create a geometric pattern reminiscent of flowers. Each arch has been filled in with wooden paneling. A horizontal strip of wood goes across this paneling, dividing the arch with the arch on the top and the straight sides below it. In the curved section of each arch is a small, arched window, each with two panes of glass divided by a piece of wood. Below the wooden divisor in each arch is a doorframe. The leftmost arch's doorframe has been filled with the same wooden paneling as the rest of it. A round sign on a post stands in …

The One-Way sign has an arrow beneath the words pointing to the right of the photo. On the right side of the photo is the Land Title Block. Photograph of a door and staircase inside of Allen Chapel located at 116 Elm Street, in Fort Worth. A small area with plaster walls is closed off from the camera's view by a wooden door with an iron doorknob and a lock. Wooden boards create the doorframe. This area divides two carpeted staircases. [The Pollock-Capps House]

Photograph of the Pollock-Capps House located at 1320 Penn Street in Fort Worth. The Victorian-style house has at least four peaks on the roof, each tipped with a spire or simply capped with a lighter material. There is also a dormer with a window, and a tall chimney. The house has three floors and a basement. The second floor has a balcony attached to the front of the house. The balcony creates the porch for the front entrance and it is supported by two large, sturdy pillars of rough stone. These pillars have two short, decorative columns next to them, closer to the entrance. These columns continue along the house, holding up the roof to the wrap-around porch that connects to the balcony. The building is made of brick and there is a band of stone on the exterior, separating the first and second floor, that wraps around the house. The band of stone is level with the balcony. The section of the house directly next to the balcony is octagonal in shape, and the side facing the camera has a port window and a decorative design laid out above it. [The façade of the Stockyards Hotel]

Photograph of the façade of the Stockyards Hotel, located at 109 East Exchange Avenue in Fort Worth. The building is made of brick and built in the Old West architecture style. Geometric patterns of triangles create a band around the upper portion of the building. The roofline gradually rises slightly in the middle with small steps of increasing height. Sections of the building's front have groups of rectangular windows. In the center of the building, a large section has six windows, three on top of three, all with two-toned curtains. The rest of the sections, all separated by brick with geometric dimensions, each have four windows, two on top of two, with two-toned curtains. The awning that shadows the entrance is supported by four small columns, reads "STOCKYARDS HOTEL," and has a railing around the top of it, resembling a balcony. Tall floor-to-ceiling windows line the ground floor, allowing the people walking on the sidewalk in front of the hotel to see inside. Shorter awnings provide shade to the rest of the sidewalk on either side of the main entrance. A car is blurry in the foreground.

[The interior of the U.S. Post Office Central]

Photograph of the interior of the U.S. Post Office Central at 251 W. Lancaster Avenue in Fort Worth. The photo focuses on a half-column of granite that extends upwards from the floor where is has been trimmed out at the bottom in granite crown molding. It is only a half-column because it is almost flush with the wall. Directly next to it, to the left, is an organization system. Many rows of small, square drawers with labels on them. The drawers increase in size as they get closer to the ground. This wall of drawers doesn't go to the full height of the actual wall, so there is a section of negative space above the drawers until the wall meets up with the crown molding. On the other side of the half-column is a small, framed-out window with bars over the bottom half of it. The window has a shelf at the bottom made out of the same granite as the column, and it is level with the crown molding at the top of the wall. Above the crown molding, decorative iron extends to the top of the picture. Four sections of designs are divided into grids. The bottom of …

The top pane has a geometric design, and the bottom pane has a large, wide cross. Another section of roofline is gabled, and the section of house that it is attached to has a completely flush front. Its windows and decorations are all the same depth, creating one long slab of wall. This section is on the right side of the front of the house, and it creates a wall for the covered porch. The porch has a brick floor with steps of the same material leading up to it. Flanking the base of the stairs are two white statues that appear to be dogs with wings. Behind the fence, the ground turns to brick. The building is also made of brick, and its left corner is almost centered in the photo. The side of the building says "BRYCE BUILDING" at the top, under a decorative mantel. A balcony in front of three tall windows creates a small awning over the side entrance. Two potted plants flank the doors, and the building's number is written above the doors. Square windows are distributed evenly along the side of the building that faces the camera, each with blinds hung on the inside, and closed.
