Dave, Mandy and Arnold Arwine

David Lively Arwine, born April 24, 1844 in Brown County, Indiana and died October 26, 1930 in Lubbock, Texas. During the Civil War, David enlisted as a private in Co. K, 145th Regiment, Indiana Volunteer Infantry. Mustered in 2/7/1865 at Columbus, Bartholomew County, Indiana, and mustered out 1/21/1866 at Macon, Bibb County, Georgia. Appointed corporal 2/16/1865. In later life he became an invalid due to a fall from a train in 1865 while on guard duty. Amande E. Elkins, born November 26, 1866 in Brown County, Indiana and died May 25, 1904, possibly in Wise County, Texas. David and Amanda married March 26, 1893 in Wise County, Texas. Their son, Joseph Arnold Arwine, born September 9, 1894 in Bridgeport, Wise Co., Texas and died April 22, 1982 in Lubbock.
