[Eel Road Exhibition Video 2019]

Video recording of an interview with poet Teel Sale, recorded by William "Bill" Mackie. The video opens with a poem written by Teel Sale, titled "Feeding Eels," and begins with the opening "Hidden in the Gardens of Chellah." The voice-over after the poem is an unidentified woman describing the cultures and myths of women offering eggs to the Gods of Fertility. In the video a sculpture by artist Nancy Oakley Klapp, titled "Women at the Pond," crafted with paper mâché, plexiglass, eggs, and acrylic paint. The prints are hand-made by artist, Gloria Sanchez-Hart. Each woman talks about their personal and collaborative process of the artwork they are creating. This video includes behind the scenes footage of the exhibition Eel Road at Bihl Haus Arts during the summer of 2019.
