This short film contains elements from a larger work, a student film titled "Sunset on Film" which documents activities at Sunset High School in the North Oak Cliff neighborhood of Dallas. The film opens with a close up of a lemon with the words "20th Century Lemon" written on it. The story begins with students arriving at school on bicycles, in cars, and by bus and includes interiors of the school, a girl posing with a lemon, and band practice with some fast-motion photography. The second portion of the film, titled "Instant Annual," juxtaposes close up images from a still group photograph with live action of girls dancing, a girl jumping in slow-motion, and a title card that reads, "Does Mrs. Ross Sleep with a Night Light?" The film ends with the Sunset High School marching band and drill team performing in a parade. Although credits indicate a soundtrack, none exists for this film.

This home movie documents the daily lives and activities of a family including a camping trip in Colorado with footage of fishing, landscape, a moving train, and birds flying in the sky. Image does not begin until 00:28 and much of this footage is underexposed. The film concludes with footage of flooded streets in the Hinkle Drive area of Denton, Texas. Footage includes a submerged car and people wading in the flooded streets with Texas Woman's University buildings seen in the distance (03:42-04:36).

The film continues with a girl playing tennis in slow-motion, students walking down hallways, students and office workers in an administrative office, students in a typing classroom, a man fixing an exterior building window, a pep rally shot from the stage and back of the auditorium, an orchestra performing, students in the cafeteria, girls performing a choreographed song and dance routine, boys playing basketball, the cameraman reflected in a mirror, and boys marching. The film is shot largely in black-and-white with brief segments shot in color. Although credits indicate there is a soundtrack, none is available for this film.

A movie theater on Jefferson Boulevard, The Vogue, can be seen in the background. The film ends with students leaving through a darkened hallway and a sunset over the neighborhood.

This film includes raw footage of an unfinished film, "Corn Flakes," and documents street scenes in the Oak Cliff neighborhood of Dallas, Texas. Shooting from West Jefferson Boulevard, the filmmaker captures residents and local businesses including Bonner Appliance, the Charco Broiler Restaurant, and Ward Drugs. The film ends with the film's protagonist wrestling with a television dinner tray on his bicycle.
