In the opinion of Detective R. D. Lewis it was thought that Litchfield was being untruthful about the questions asked.

Report to Chief J. E. Curry by C. C. Wallace, concerning an interview with C. O. Arnett. Wallace states that Arnett furnished information from a Mrs. Cleo Conine, who stated that Lee Harvey Oswald and Jack Ruby were related. Later contact with Conine revealed that she denied having knowledge of that information.
