Cornwall states that Litchfield called claiming to have information that he saw Oswald in company with Ruby, and he came into the Special Service Bureau for an interview and polygraph test. In the opinion of Detective R. D. Lewis it was thought that Litchfield was being untruthful about the questions asked.

Report written by T. A. Hutson to Chief J. E. Curry concerning the arrest of Lee Harvey Oswald. Hutson states that he was searching for the suspect who shot Officer J. D. Tippit when he proceeded to the Texas Theater. He describes locating Oswald in the theater and apprehending him from behind.
