He advises that this is his 35th Tour of the Nation with his "current outfit" stating that the Lord has been good to him and he has always loved him, more now if possible, that he may not get to heaven by following a Baptist book but will take that chance. He asks after Byrdie [Byrdie Carswell] and expresses his gratitude for Carswell's friendship through the years.
