A letter written to Mr. Forister from T. N. Carswell, dated October 22, 1957. Carswell requests a favor of Forister to deliver candy to the Czichos family and advises of a check which he has attached to the letter.

A letter written to Hon. Ed. Drake, Chairman, Dallas County Democratic Executive Committee from T. N. Carswell, dated November 11, 1957. Carswell advises that his daughter, Peggy Carswell, has recently moved to Dallas and has a "constructive interest in politics". He advises Drake, that in his opinion, Peggy would fit in well with his organization.

A letter written to Bill Fulwiler from T. N. Carswell, dated December 23, 1957. Carswell advises Bill due to Christmas making him reminisce that he wrote to expresses his appreciation for W. J. Fulwiler, Bill's father, for his friendship and leadership in the building of Abilene during the years Carswell served [at the Abilene Chamber of Commerce]. He commends Bill on the exemplary way that he and Harry have carried on the multiple interests of W. J.

Carswell expresses his appreciation for "the splendid way" that Don has handled the substantial interests entrusted to his care noting his Dad [H. O. Wooten] and Mother were in Simmons when he enrolled there and that his Grandfather was one of his good and helpful friends.

Crane explains that each year she sends a message to Grace with greetings for Carswell and any of the other Abilene friends who are still there. She advises that now she is sending the note to Carswell and asking that he give her Christmas love to Grace and all the Sandefers. She requests that he or Grace send the dates on her Grandmother's grave, tell her Abilene news and then offers the season's greetings. Blackburn advises of the background and unusual situation of a subject from the Taylor County Jail and requests supervision by Williams after the transfer of Subject from Taylor County to El Paso County into the custody of her son. Peterson, Investigator), dated May 27, 1957. Referring to Subject N. C. Prison 60841-2, Peterson advises Carswell that the case will not be considered again until December 8, 1957.

The Alabama Board advises that the request was made to the Florida authorities to investigate a transfer from Texas. Carswell requests a supply of Monthly Report forms, advises of his exhausted supply and the reason, therefore, of his request that they accept this monthly report on parolees on regular paper.

A report from Ruby Blackburn, Administrative Assistant of the Voluntary County Parole Board System in Austin, Texas, dated August 19, 1957, and addressed to Mr. T. N. Carswell, Chairman, Taylor County Parole Board, Abilene, Texas. The form gives notice of the granting of the petition for the transfer of subject from Taylor County to El Paso County, and naming the subject's prospective employer as Davis, Foster and Thorps, Architects, and the parole officer as P. W. Williams.
