There is a sign advertising surgical and sickroom supplies on one building and the building to the left of this has a fire escape and awnings over all of the windows. There are trees and plants along the walkways in front of the building and there is a bridge next to the buildings in order to get from one side of the river to another. More multi-story buildings and stairs leading up to street level are visible in the background of the image.
